Kanpur: Railbazar police on Thursday arrested a woman and seized 8 kg of ganja from her near Shivnarayan Tandon Setu bridge during a checking drive.According to police, the accused, Chandni Joshi, allegedly brought the contraband from Odisha to Kanpur and supplied it in the Kanpur Railway Station area, receiving Rs 5,000 per trip.Police said she had already transported the contraband from Odisha to Kanpur twice in August but was caught during her third trip.The contraband was seized and the woman was being questioned. Further legal action is underway, police said.
