Vadodara: A woman reportedly fainted outside a gas agency on Waghodiya Road on Thursday afternoon, and a video of the incident soon went viral on social media. It is believed that she collapsed due to the intense heat.In the video, the woman is seen lying unconscious on the ground outside the agency while a long queue of people waits to book LPG cylinders. Those standing in the line appear to remain in place, apparently to avoid losing their turn.The footage also shows people sprinkling water on the woman’s face in an attempt to revive her. Sources said she later regained consciousness and rejoined the queue.Repeated calls to the gas agency for details about the incident went unanswered.Meanwhile, the district administration began inspections at gas agencies across the city supplying LPG cylinders. Teams of officials were formed to monitor stock levels at agencies in different parts of the city, including those of private companies.Sources said long queues were reported at some agencies, though the situation was not the same across all areas. Officials have urged residents to avoid panic buying and hoarding of LPG cylinders.
