Keonjhar: A 25-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly murdering her husband following a domestic dispute in Bankapatuli village under Ghatgaon police station limits in Keonjhar district, police said on Wednesday. The accused, Jatri Munda, is alleged to have killed her 26-year-old husband, Anand Munda, late on Monday night.Investigators said that after the dispute, the woman allegedly attacked her husband with a piece of firewood while he was asleep, hitting him on the head. She is also accused of strangling him. Seriously injured in the assault, Anand was rushed by family members to the district headquarters hospital in Keonjhar, where doctors declared him dead.After being informed of the incident, police reached the village, recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem examination. Following the autopsy, the body was handed over to the family, said IIC, Ghatagaon police station Subhrant Kumar Jena.
