It explained, “Raghav Chadha steps away from Parliament and into the life of a delivery partner to experience, firsthand, the physical exhaustion, mental stress, safety risks, and economic insecurity that define gig work in India today. Wearing the delivery jacket, following algorithm-driven instructions, racing against unrealistic timelines, and navigating traffic chaos, Raghav Chadha documents what convenience truly costs the people who power India’s quick-commerce economy.

The over 37-minute-long video shows Chadha in a Blinkit uniform and jacket. The footage captures his experience of delivering orders while riding pillion.

While sharing a trailer of the video on X on January 12, the politician tweeted, “Away from boardrooms, at the grassroots. I lived their day.”

The video surfaced amid Raghav Chadha’s first remark after being dropped by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as Rajya Sabha deputy leader. The politician, after being replaced, shared a video on X asking, “Have I done something wrong?”

He captioned the video, “Silenced, not defeated. My message to the ‘aam aadmi’.”

“Whenever I get the chance to speak in Parliament, I raise public’s issues…but is it a crime or a mistake to do so? I am asking this because AAP has told the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to put a stop to Raghav Chadha’s Parliament address,” Chadha said in the video.

Prior to his recent tweet, he also shared a clip which showed the issues he had raised in the parliament. Though he posted the video with a 🧿 emoji, there were no mentions of the incident related to the Rajya Sabha.

Who is replacing Raghav Chadha?

Reportedly, Ashok Mittal is set to take over as the party deputy leader in the House, a position previously held by Raghav Chadha. AAP party leaders described that the decision was taken as part of an internal restructuring.
