Bengaluru: Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool), Bengaluru, held its convocation on Saturday for the 2024-26 PGDM batch, marking the graduation of students from four management programmes.The ceremony was attended by Sudhir Kalkar, Radhesham Agarwal, Uday Salunkhe and other institutional representatives. Santosh Panpaliya, senior vice-president and global head, HR, Infosys BPM, was the guest of honour.Addressing the graduates, Panpaliya emphasised the importance of human potential and values as they begin their professional careers. “Human capability has no substitute,” he said, urging the students to “build character before building a career.”Madhavi Lokhande, director of WeSchool Bengaluru, congratulated the graduating batch and stressed the need for continuous learning, adaptability and responsible leadership.Diplomas were conferred on students from PGDM Core, PGDM E-Business, PGDM-RBA and PGDM-BD&I programmes. The ceremony brought together graduating students, parents, faculty members and institutional leadership.The institute also highlighted developments at its Bengaluru campus, including additional classrooms and learning spaces. The campus has 12 Bloomberg Terminals that provide students access to real-time financial market data and industry information. It has also commenced PhD admissions, expanding its research and academic activities.
