West Bengal Chief Minister, Suvendu Adhikari on Thursday said the BJP would bring the Tata Group back to the state.
“We will bring back Tatas in Bengal,” Adhikari said at a press conference in Kolkata.
The remark comes against the backdrop of the Tata Motors Nano project‘s exit from Singur in 2008 following protests over land acquisition. The issue has remained a key reference point in discussions around industrialisation and investment in West Bengal.
