MUMBAI: Mumbai cop, in a swift rescue operation, saved a 46-year-old woman after she jumped into the sea at the Marine Drive promenade. The incident occurred around 11.25am on Monday.Reportedly, as soon as the woman jumped into the sea, police constable Jayesh Mali, who was patrolling the area, acted swiftly. With the help of nearby citizens, Mali successfully rescued the woman.After receiving information about the incident, assistant police inspector Someshwar Chougule and police sub-inspector Gagre coordinated with medical teams and ensured that medical assistance was provided to avoid any further mishap.Mumbai police also informed the woman’s family about the incident before taking further action. She was then shifted to GT Hospital for treatment, where her condition is now stable, police said.Mumbai police posted about the incident on their official X handle, drawing widespread praise and support from users.
