HYDERABAD: A delegation of Congress MLAs from the combined Warangal district on Sunday met chief minister A Revanth Reddy at his residence. They submitted a representation seeking the overall development of Warangal, considered the second capital of Telangana. The meeting of this group of MLAs with CM raised eyebrows, as they strongly complained to the TPCC leadership and the disciplinary action committee against forest and endowments minister Konda Surekha and her husband, Konda Murali. They accused the Konda couple of undermining the role of the MLAs. The group of MLAs included former Kadiyam Srihari (Station Ghanpur), Warangal DCC president Naini Rajender Reddy (Warangal West), Revuri Prakash Reddy (Parkal), Mamidala Yashaswini Reddy (Palakurthi), and KR Nagaraj (Wardhannapet). Their plaints to TPCC and disciplinary action panel were pending. “We wanted to keep our meeting with the CM strictly confined to development of Warangal,” one of the MLAs said.tnn
