Surat: Students of the department of interior design at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) recently undertook an academic study tour to Keylong in the Lahaul Valley of Himachal Pradesh, where they explored the region’s distinctive interior spaces, local architecture and cultural heritage. Based on their fieldwork, a two-day exhibition opened at the university on Saturday.A total of 87 students, accompanied by 11 faculty members, visited Keylong and nearby areas in the Lahaul Valley. During the tour, they studied several heritage structures, including the 600-year-old Kangsar Khar Fort and a 200-year-old traditional house in Taskyang village, along with other historic sites.The findings of the tour are being presented in an exhibition titled “Discovering Keylong–Lahaul Valley’s Hidden Treasures”.
