Madikeri: Villagers in Ballamavati, Pulikotu and Perur under Ballamavati gram panchayat are facing severe internet connectivity issues. The problem must be resolved immediately, said Manavattira Daya Chinnappa, a local leader from Pulikotu village.Speaking to reporters in Madikeri, he said that network issues have been affecting users, especially students, very badly. Operations at the Canara Bank branch in Ballamavati have also been disrupted, and even accessing rations at PDS shops has become difficult due to the internet problem. He urged the authorities concerned to take immediate action to resolve the issue.Tolanda Poonacha, a coffee grower from Perur village and a local leader, said that none of the networks is functioning properly in the area. He stressed that digital connectivity is essential for the public and that people are suffering due to the lack of reliable network services. He demanded that MLAs and MPs take the initiative to ensure proper network facilities in rural areas.Local leaders from Doddapulikotu village, including Manavattira Harish Subbaiah and Manavattira Harry Karumbaiah, were present.
