Chennai: After an extensive campaign for his party and alliance partners, VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan concluded his election trail with a series of video messages seeking votes for party candidates. He released individual videos for each of the eight candidates fielded by the VCK as part of the DMK-led alliance. In these messages, he issued a clarion call to the electorate to ensure the continuity of the ‘Dravidian model’ govt under chief minister M K Stalin and to prevent fascist forces from gaining foothold in Tamil Nadu.“I appeal to the voters in Tindivanam to vote for Vanniyarasu, who is ideologically firm and deeply rooted in our movement. Having been associated with the party for 25 years, he has remained fiercely loyal to the leadership. Known for his powerful oratory skills, he champions the party’s ideology in public debates. I urge the public to vote for the ‘pot’ symbol to ensure his victory and the continuation of chief minister Stalin’s good governance,” Thirumavalavan said. The VCK chief also targeted Vijay, alleging that he is inadvertently aiding the AIADMK-BJP alliance by trying to split minority votes.
