Vaibhav Mehta has joined healthcare artificial intelligence company Qure.ai as Chief Legal Officer, moving from beauty and fashion e-commerce company Nykaa, where he served as Vice President of Legal.
At Nykaa, Mehta led legal matters for multiple businesses and joint ventures and headed the group’s Legal Centre of Excellence.
At Qure.ai, he will oversee commercial and technology transactions, data privacy, intellectual property, governance and compliance across the company’s global operations.
Mehta brings more than 20 years of experience in in-house legal roles spanning technology, media, consumer businesses and e-commerce.
Before joining Nykaa, he served as Director of Legal at ElasticRun and held legal positions at Bajaj Electricals and Viacom18.
His earlier experience also includes roles at Star India and Turner International India, as well as litigation and legal advisory work at the Delhi High Court.
