Lucknow: A high-level delegation from University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom, met Uttar Pradesh higher education minister Yogendra Upadhyaya on Tuesday to discuss internationalising higher education.
The discussions focused on strengthening academic and research collaboration between universities in UP and the UK. Key issues included expanding research partnerships and facilitating student and faculty exchange programmes. Emphasis was also placed on enhancing academic excellence, innovation and global exposure for students and faculty members.
The UK delegation comprised vice-chancellor of the University of Portsmouth Prof Graham Galbraith, pro vice-chancellor Chris Chang and representatives of the British Council Parul Gupta and Ritika Chanda Parruck.
