Times News NetworkKanpur: The governing council of UP T20 league released the itinerary of its league which will be played in two districts.Lucknow which had hosted the last two editions of the league will once again host its first phase including the inaugural function. Dr Sanjay Kapoor, chairman of the league, informed that the inaugural match will be played between Kashi Rudraksha and Meerut Mavericks, the two finalist teams of the third edition at Ekana Stadium.Six teams Kashi Rudrasha, Meerut Mavericks, Lucknow Falcons, Kanpur Super Star, Noida Super Kings and Gorakhpur Lions are participating in the league.Lucknow will host as many as 22 matches between August 14 to August 26, and August 27 is the rest day. Thereafter the second phase will be played at the Green Park stadium from August 28 to September 6. Green Park stadium will host as many as 12 matches including the final.Kapoor stated there would be two off days in Kanpur—September 2 and September 5.Schedule of Kanpur Phase is:August 28-Kashi v/s Noida (7.30 pm)August 29-Meerut v/s Lucknow (3.30 pm) and Kanpur v/s Noida (7.30 pm.August 30- Gorakhpur v/s Lucknow (3.30 pm) and Noida v/s Meerut (7.30 pm)August 31-Kanpur v/s Meerut (7.30 pm)September 1-Meerut v/s Kashi (3.30 pm) and Kanpur v/s Gorakhpur (7.30 pm.)September 2-Break daySeptember 3-Qualified one-3.30 pm and Eliminator (7.30 pm)September 4- Qualified two 7.30 pm)September 5- Break DaySeptember 6-Final (7.30 pm) and prize distribution.
