The Union Public Service Commission has announced the UPSC NDA & NA II 2026 exam date. Candidates who want to appear for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Exam 2 can check the exam schedule on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
The examination will be held on September 13, 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts- first shift from 10 am to 12.30 pm and second shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. The mathematics paper will be held in the first shift, and the General Ability Test will be held in the second shift.
For both writing and marking answers in the OMR sheet (Answer Sheet), candidates must use a black ball pen only. Pen of any other colour is not permitted. Do not use a pencil or an ink pen. Candidates should note that any omission/mistake/discrepancy in encoding/filling of details in the OMR answer sheet, especially with regard to Roll Number and Test Booklet Series Code, will render the answer sheet liable for rejection.
There will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

To check the exam schedule, candidates can follow the steps given below.
1. Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
2. Click on UPSC NDA & NA II 2026 exam date link available on the home page.
3. A new page will open where candidates can check the exam date.
4. Download the notice and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
A two-stage selection procedure based on Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test has been introduced at Selection Centres/Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards. All the candidates will be put to the stage-one test on the first day of reporting at Selection Centres/Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards.
Only those candidates who qualify at stage one will be admitted to the second stage/remaining tests. Those candidates who qualify stage II will be required to submit the Original Certificates along with one photocopy each of: (i) Original Matriculation pass certificate or equivalent in support of date of birth, (ii) Original 10+2 pass certificate or equivalent in support of educational qualification.
