Prayagraj: The Lecturer (male/female), Govt Inter College Main Exam-2025, conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), will be held in Prayagraj and Lucknow on Aug 30 and in Lucknow on Aug 31.Admit cards have been made available on the commission’s website and candidates can download them using their OTR numbers.Candidates appearing for the examination will have to carry their admit card, two recent passport-size photographs, an original photo identity card and a photocopy of the ID. They must reach centres at least 90 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam. Entry to the centre will be closed 45 minutes before the examination begins.According to UPPSC deputy secretary Dharmendra Kumar Tripathi, the first paper, General Hindi and essay (traditional), will be held on Aug 30 from 9.30am to 11.30am for candidates appearing for 15 subjects. These include sociology, geography, economics, civics, physics, chemistry, mathematics, English, history, biology, Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit, besides psychology and criminology and penology.The second paper, based on the optional subject, will be conducted from 2.30pm to 5.30pm on the same day for candidates of 13 subjects, including sociology, geography, economics, civics, physics, chemistry, mathematics, English, history, biology, Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit.On Aug 31, candidates for psychology will appear for the traditional paper from 9am to noon at the examination hall of the UPPSC camp office in Lucknow. The examination for criminology and penology will be held at the same venue from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.The commission has allowed candidates to appear provisionally, subject to completion of the process of submitting hard copies of their application forms within the prescribed deadline. UPPSC said candidature will be cancelled if scrutiny finds that the required hard copy was not submitted within the stipulated period.
