Hyderabad: TPCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud on Thursday said the issue concerning minister Konda Surekha was now with AICC and the state leadership would accept whatever decision the party high command takes.Speaking to reporters in Nizamabad, Goud said the TPCC disciplinary committee had submitted its report on Surekha to AICC. The committee had examined the controversy surrounding remarks made by Surekha’s daughter Konda Sushmitha Patel against chief minister A Revanth Reddy and Surekha’s response to a notice issued by the party.The disciplinary committee has also examined allegations involving senior Congress leader G Chinna Reddy. Its report was submitted to Goud and forwarded to AICC for a final decision. The committee is learnt to have recommended action against both leaders.Goud said there was no anger or personal vendetta against anyone in Congress and that whatever decision taken by party high command would be accepted.He also said Konda Murali had not contacted him regarding Surekha issue.Responding to questions on Congress and Backward Classes, Goud said no other political party had given as much importance to BCs as Congress.On Telangana’s water share, Goud said the state would not compromise on its rightful share and the govt would ensure that Telangana does not suffer injustice.Goud also said he had received a notice relating to SIR and would submit details sought by authorities.
