Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) has released the schedule for admissions and online registration for students seeking entry to Classes 9 to 12 for the 2026-27 academic session.Board secretary, Bhagwati Singh, issued detailed guidelines regarding admissions, fee submission, registration and uploading of student records on the board’s official website.According to the schedule, the last date for admission to Classes 9 and 11 is Aug 5. However, students who pass the High School compartment examination or are declared successful after scrutiny of results will be allowed to take admission to Class 11 up to Aug 20.The board has also fixed Aug 5 as the last date for admission to Classes 10 and 12 and for the collection of examination fees by school principals. Along with the schedule, the board has notified the examination fees for High School and Intermediate students.For Classes 9 and 11, schools will have to deposit the advance registration fee of Rs 40 per student through treasury challan and upload the details of deposited fees along with students’ academic information on the board portal by Aug 25.The board has also prescribed timelines for verification of uploaded data and correction of errors.The secretary has directed schools to ensure that all academic details, including students’ names, parents’ names, date of birth, gender and selected subjects, are uploaded only after proper verification with school records by class teachers and principals. Any discrepancy in the uploaded information will make the class teacher and principal accountable.The board has further instructed schools to send photo-attested nominal rolls and related treasury documents to the respective regional offices through the district inspector of schools office. The last date for submission of these documents has been fixed as Sept 30.Meanwhile, the examination fee for institutional High School candidates has been fixed at Rs 500, while private candidates will have to pay Rs 700. For Intermediate examinations, institutional candidates will be required to pay Rs 600 and private candidates Rs 800.
