Prayagraj: The UP Board has revised the schedule for finalising examination centres for the 2027 High School and Intermediate examinations, extending the deadline for schools to upload details of their physical resources and infrastructure on the board’s website from July 20 to Aug 24.The dates for physical verification of school facilities, inviting and disposing of objections and finalising examination centres have also been extended.According to the revised schedule issued by board secretary Bhagwati Singh, information uploaded by principals on the board portal will be physically verified by tehsil-level committees constituted by district magistrates by Sept 3. The final date for district inspector of schools (DIOS) to upload the verification reports on the board website has been fixed as Sept 12, against the earlier deadline of Aug 10.The extension comes after reports that verification documents relating to 647 schools had not been uploaded by several DIOS offices within the timeline. The list of selected examination centres, along with school-wise student allocation, will be displayed online on Sept 21 for scrutiny by the district-level committee headed by the district magistrate. Principals will be able to examine the list and submit objections by Sept 28.The district committee will consider and dispose of the objections and forward its approval report through the DIOS by Oct 8. The revised list will subsequently be uploaded on the portal for public information on Oct 17, allowing stakeholders to raise further objections. The UP Board will examine these objections before finalising the centres. The final list, including student allocation, will be uploaded on the board website on Oct 29, replacing the earlier deadline of Sept 18.
