COIMBATORE: The Sulur police in Coimbatore district launched a murder investigation following the discovery of an unidentified man’s body in a dilapidated shed at Nandini Nagar in Pappampatti on Monday.The deceased, estimated to be aged between 35 and 40 years, was found naked with severe head injuries inside an unused hollow-block shed located in a private property.Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was murdered at least two days before. Police noted a tattoo reading “Rameswar” on his right forearm.Special teams have been formed to establish the victim’s identity, uncover the motive behind the murder and track down the perpetrators.
