Amravati: A birthday celebration ended in tragedy when two youths drowned in Ratnapur Lake on Friday evening. The body of one of the youths was recovered around 8 pm, while the search for the second was on till late at night.The incident occurred when a group of six to seven friends from Vilas Nagar and other parts of the city were celebrating along the lake. Some of the youths decided to enter the lake. Two youths were pulled into deep water. Their friends informed Badnera Police about the incident. The Disaster Management Cell launched a search operation and recovered one body. The identity of the two youths was not known till the time of filing this report.
