Prayagraj: Two minor cousins drowned in a large pit in Nawada village under the Sarayakil police station limits of Kaushambi district on Thursday morning, police said.The incident occurred when Aditya (7) and his cousin Dipanshu (6), both residents of Niwada village, went to take a bath. The duo slipped into deep water and drowned. A minor girl present at the spot raised an alarm, but by the time help arrived, both children had died.A joint team of police and local swimmers later recovered the bodies.
