Mangaluru: Two girl students were injured after being thrown from a moving KSRTC bus onto the road near Gerukatte Reshme Road in Belthangady taluk on Tuesday. The video of the girls falling from the moving bus has gone viral.The injured have been identified as Charishma, a class 10 student, and Jasmitha, a I PU student. A crowded bus, travelling from Gerukatte towards Belthangady, approached a curve at Gerukatte. The door suddenly opened, causing two siblings who were standing nearby to lose balance and fall onto the road.Charishma, despite her injuries, took her SSLC exam with the aid of a scribe. Her sibling, Jasmitha, was on her way to her PU college to check her I PU results when the accident took place. Charishma, after undergoing treatment at a hospital in Guruvayanakere, proceeded to the SSLC examination centre for the exam. asmitha is undergoing treatment.Belthangady traffic police said that a case has been registered against the driver and conductor of the bus. Police said that they showed negligence as the latch of the bus door was not locked when the bus was moving.
