Gurgaon: A 37-year-old man succumbed to injuries after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near a petrol pump on the Noorpur-Bhora Kalan road in Bilaspur.Sunil Saini, a resident of Bhora Kalan village, worked at a warehouse in Noorpur. On Sunday, he was walking back home after finishing his shift when an unknown vehicle struck Sunil and fled the spot.Family members rushed him first to a hospital in Rewari. Due to the severity of his condition, he was later shifted to NIMS Medical College in Jaipur, where he died during treatment on Monday.A complaint was filed by his cousin Jitender Singh and a case was registered at Bilaspur police station under sections 281 (rash driving) and 106 (causing death by negligence) of BNS against an unidentified driver.“Efforts are underway to identify the vehicle involved in the accident,” police added.In another accident, a man died during treatment after a speeding car rammed his motorcycle near Farrukhnagar on March 27. On Monday, the man succumbed to injuries.The victim, 58-year-old Harikishan Yadav of Sadhrana village, was on his way back after attending a function when the accident happened. Around 4.30pm, a white Maruti Brezza hit his motorcycle. “The vehicle, bearing registration number HR26FM6067, was being driven at high speed and in a rash manner. After the collision, the driver briefly stopped before fleeing towards Farrukhnagar,” the complaint stated.His son Rishi, who witnessed the accident, rushed to help his father but Harikishan lost consciousness shortly after. Passers-by shifted the injured man to SGT Hospital in Budhera. He was later taken to a private hospital in Sector 90 for further treatment.Police said the victim was declared unfit for statement by doctors during treatment. Based on the complaint filed by his son and the medico-legal report, a case was registered at Farrukhnagar police station under Sections 281 (rash driving) and 125A (endangering life or personal safety of others) of BNS.On Monday, Harikishan succumbed to his injuries. Police are working to trace the accused driver and verify the details of the vehicle involved.
