Times News NetworkPanchkula: Two youths from Chandigarh were killed in a road accident while travelling to Solan on a motorcycle late Friday night on the highway near the Chandimandir toll plaza.The deceased were identified as Pradeep, a resident of Sector 28, and Ashish, a resident of Sector 45, Chandigarh.According to information, a group of friends left Chandigarh for Solan on separate motorcycles. Pradeep and Ashish were travelling together on one motorcycle and had moved ahead of the others.Around 1am, their friends reached the highway near the Chandimandir toll plaza and found the two lying on the road. They informed the police, following which the injured youths were taken to Civil Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula, where doctors declared them dead.The exact circumstances leading to the accident were not immediately known. Chandimandir police took the motorcycle into custody and started an investigation.
