Guwahati: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), regional office Kolkata, has successfully organised a seminar on “Rating of Buildings for Digital Connectivity” in Guwahati.The event, held on Thursday, was inaugurated by Assam IT principal secretary KS Gopinath Narayan and it aimed to raise awareness about TRAI’s 2024 regulations on property ratings for telecom access.Senior officials from TRAI, DoT, RERA, AREIDA, architects, builders, academia, and telecom service providers attended the event. Speakers highlighted the importance of integrating digital connectivity into building bylaws to ensure seamless telecom services, especially in the era of AI. The seminar featured sessions on regulatory provisions, challenges, and industry perspectives.
