Jaipur: Police arrested a 32-year-old alleged human trafficker from a Mansarovar hotel, months after two rescued minor girls exposed a cross-country network that brought them from Bangladesh and forced them into the flesh trade. The accused, identified as Gul Bahar Ali alias Rahul, is suspected to be the kingpin of an interstate trafficking racket. The minors, rescued earlier and lodged in a girls’ home by Jalupura police in July 2025, told counsellors they were coerced into prostitution after being trafficked to Jaipur through multiple agents. One victim said she was brought from Bangladesh about a year earlier via Ankleshwar, Kolkata and Chennai, while the other said she was pushed into the trade in Jaipur two months before rescue. Originally from Assam, the accused was also linked to a hotel business in Jaipur, now under scrutiny for possible links to trafficking. Further investigation is underway, police said.
