Pune: The city traffic police, in collaboration with community and institutional partners, have launched a road safety awareness campaign covering Koregaon Park, Kalyaninagar, Mundhwa, and adjoining areas.Supported by the Lions and Leo Clubs and Windsor House, the initiative features a dedicated awareness video and educational pamphlets designed to sensitise the public. The video clip will be broadcast on digital screens at major traffic junctions across these neighborhoods, while volunteers distribute pamphlets to motorists highlighting the importance of strictly adhering to traffic regulations.Volunteers will conduct sessions on safe driving techniques for motorists. Furthermore, the drive aims to engage the younger generation through specialised road safety workshops for children and a poster-making competition.The campaign seeks to foster a culture of responsible driving and reduce traffic violations in these high-traffic zones through a mix of digital outreach and community participation.
