In the Jadavpur constituency of West Bengal, BJP candidate Sarbori Mukherjee is currently leading with 18,696 votes, holding a margin of 4,940 votes over the second-placed candidate. Sitting MLA Debabrata Majumdar (Malay) of TMC is trailing with 13,756 votes, currently placed second in the count. CPM candidate Bikashranjan Bhattacharya, 75, is trailing in third position with 6,067 votes. Counting is still underway and no result has been declared for this seat.
