Kanpur: A dispute over allowing a vehicle to pass without paying toll at the Dariya Niwada toll plaza in the Shivrajpur police station area of the City escalated after goons barged into the toll manager’s office, attacked him and fled after looting.According to information, the dispute began at the toll gate when some goons pressured staff to let their vehicle pass without paying the toll. The situation worsened when toll employees refused.After this, the group barged into the toll plaza manager’s cabin where the manager was brutally beaten up, causing him serious injuries. It was reported that the goons also carried out looting during the assault. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the toll plaza.Police officials said the accused were identified and teams were conducting raids for their arrest. tnn
