Mumbai: Healthcare diagnostic chain, Thyrocare reported a 24 per cent year on year growth in consolidated revenue at Rs 240.02 cr for the first quarter ending June this year.
Ebitda for the quarter stood at Rs 77.27 cr, up 34 per cent year on year, while profit after tax also increased 34 per cent to Rs 51.33 cr.
The diagnostic chain said growth was primarily driven by its pathology segment, as franchise revenue grew by 27 per cent year on year, while partnership segment recorded 26 per cent year on year growth.
In the three month period, Thyrocare processed 55.2 million tests, up 28 per cent year-on-year, making it the largest diagnostic test volume processor in India.
The company also expanded into the specialty diagnostics segment in the quarter, beginning with Allergy and Genomics testing.
