Prayagraj: Kaushambi police on Friday busted an inter-district robbers’ gang and arrested three of its members for involvement in a loot near Sisiyawa crossing under the limits of Charwa police station.The arrested persons—Sanjay, Ashu and Alman alias Arman—were all residents of Puramufti. The police seized a country-made pistol of 0.315 bore along with a live cartridge, a bag, mobile, silver ornament, bike, ATM card .Four miscreants on two bikes looted cash, jewellery and a mobile from one Ramesh Singh and his wife when they were returning to Sayyad Sarawa from a function on Feb 21. The miscreants said that they had sold the looted jewellery and distributed Rs 12,000 each among them.
