Kanpur: A speeding trailer ran over three relatives, including a minor, while they were crossing the road at the Nawabganj intersection in Farrukhabad late Saturday, killing them on the spot. After the accident, the trailer driver fled, abandoning the vehicle.A CCTV footage showed the trailer hitting the victims, dragging them 20 metres before crashing into a tree and a shop. The victims were Pushpendra (20), Arpit (18), and Nishu Yadav (15) from Nayagaon. Arpit, the family’s only son, was set to get married in two months.Arpit’s uncle Sunil said the trio left home at 8 pm, saying they would visit the fields, but headed to Arpit’s maternal uncle’s house in the Nawabganj area instead.Nawabganj police station in-charge Rajeev Kumar said a search was underway for the dumper driver. tnn
