Pune: Three people suffered injuries after the driver of an electric car reportedly lost control of the vehicle while exiting the parking area of a private hospital in Navi Peth around 1.30 pm on Saturday.The Vishrambaug police have recorded the incident, but none of the injured persons or their relatives have filed formal complaints so far. All the injured have been admitted to the same private hospital. A total of four vehicles were involved in the accident.Senior inspector Pradik Kasbe of Vishrambaug police said, “The driver had come to the hospital to pick up a relative who was being discharged. As the car was exiting the parking lot towards the main gate, the driver allegedly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. The vehicle then rammed into an autorickshaw and two motorcycles. There was a patient in the autorickshaw.”He said, “The autorickshaw driver and the two motorcyclists suffered injuries and have been hospitalised.”
