Ghaziabad: Police have arrested two persons for allegedly firing at and injuring a BBA student on Friday. One accused in the case had already been arrested on Saturday.On Friday, Tarun Singh (24) a BBA student of a private college, had suffered a bullet injury in his hand after a heated argument with a group of people. Sagar Pandit (20), one of the five people named in the FIR, was arrested a day after the incident. Akash Tyagi (19) and Rahul Sharma (26) were arrested on Sunday.Police found the accused and the BBA student have an ongoing dispute. Sagar had told police that a few days ago, Tarun had assaulted him, in which he sustained injuries on his lip and on his right hand near the elbow. “The matter escalated when Sagar and his friends went to meet Tarun in front of a restaurant,” ACP (Nandgram) Ziauddin Ahmad said.One pistol, two live cartridges and a motorbike were recovered from the accused’s possession.Singh earlier told cops that around 11.40pm on Friday, he had gone out to eat at a restaurant on 100 Futa Road. On his way there, he was approached by a group of around eight youths on motorcylces. The group surrounded him and began hurling abuses, leading to an argument that quickly escalated into a physical fight, he said. Two of the youths allegedly opened fire at Singh, who sustained a bullet injury to the arm.
