Bokaro: Bodies of three youths were recovered from railway tracks near Lavatand, around 9 km from Bokaro Steel City railway station, on Thursday. Bokaro GRP suspected the youths were fatally hit by a train while drinking near the tracks.The incident occurred about 400 meters near outer signal of Radhanagar railway station. The deceased were identified as Bablu Soren, 19, a resident of Barki Punu village under Tikahara in Gomia block of the district. “The other two deceased were identified as Deepak Soren, 20, and Baburam Murmu, 19,” Amarendra Kotwari, a sub-inspector at GRP Bokaro, said. The bodies were sent for postmortem examination. A motorcycle was also recovered near the site.Preliminary findings suggest that the three youths may have been struck by a train. However, the exact circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear. “It was around 7 pm on Wednesday when Deepak received a call and left home,” Surjan Soren, brother of Deepak, said on Thursday. “Investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of death and determine whether any other factors were involved,” GRP said.
