Living a queen’s life once, 75 year old Gill Ded lives on a razor’s edge in a makeshift “one room house” on the banks of Choont Kul in Srinagar. She lost her husband and her adopted son also deserted her. She now appeals to the government to provide her shelter so that she can spend the last days of her life in peace.
