JAMMU, AUGUST 31: Tejinder Singh on Monday assumed charge as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone, succeeding Bhim Sen Tuti.
A farewell-cum-welcome function was organised at the Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ), Jammu, to mark the transition and bid farewell to outgoing IGP Bhim Sen Tuti while formally welcoming Tejinder Singh as his successor.
During the function, officers and personnel of the Jammu Zone appreciated Tuti’s leadership and contributions during his tenure. In his address, Tuti expressed gratitude to officers and police personnel for their cooperation, support and dedication during his tenure as IGP Jammu Zone.
The gathering also extended its best wishes to Tuti for his new assignment and wished him success in his future responsibilities.
Tejinder Singh was warmly welcomed by officers and personnel of the Jammu Zone, who expressed confidence in his leadership and wished him a successful and productive tenure.
The function concluded with the officers and personnel assuring the newly appointed IGP of their full cooperation and reaffirming their commitment to maintaining peace, security and effective policing across the Jammu Zone.
