Dhubri: A contractual Sanskrit teacher associated with a study centre at Bholanath College in Dhubri was arrested on Tuesday night for allegedly photographing a student at her rented accommodation, police said.The accused is from Malda in West Bengal. He was arrested by personnel of Dhubri BN College Town Outpost following a complaint lodged by the student’s brother.Bholanath College principal Kishore Kumar Shah said the accused was not a teacher of the college. He said the accused was associated with the study centre of a Delhi-based Sanskrit university and had been appointed by the university.Shah also said the alleged incident did not take place on Bholanath College campus and that the student was enrolled at a BEd college, not Bholanath College.Following the incident, Shah said he had emailed a complaint against the accused to the university in Delhi, bringing the matter to its notice.
