CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu police seized 34kg of ganja and 1,872 narcotic tablets in separate operations in Nagapattinam, Tirupattur and Tambaram, arresting six people.In Nagapattinam district, police seized 23kg of ganja allegedly kept for sale near Papakovil bus stop and arrested three people.In Tirupattur district, police seized 11kg of ganja from a train in the Jolarpet area and arrested two people.In Tambaram, police arrested a man for allegedly possessing prohibited narcotic tablets for sale and seized 1,872 tablets.
