CM Samrat Choudhary reviews preparations for Shri Guru Ravidas Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan in Patna on Sunday

Patna: CM Samrat Choudhary on Sunday asked officials to take the Shri Guru Sant Ravidas Kalash Yatra to the block level across Bihar from Aug 18-20 as part of preparations for a statewide campaign marking the 650th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Sant Ravidas Ji.Samrat issued the directive while reviewing the Shri Guru Ravidas Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan at the Sankalp auditorium in Lok Sevak Awas in Patna. He said the campaign would be organised on a large scale to ensure govt schemes and facilities reached all villages and habitations with scheduled caste populations.The initiative would also focus on modern social infrastructure, economic opportunities and educational empowerment for these communities, he said. The programme would be implemented through an integrated multi-sectoral action plan aimed at comprehensive socio-economic transformation.Samrat asked officials to ensure the Kalash Yatra carried the campaign’s objectives and the message of harmony, social equality and humanity associated with Sant Guru Ravidas Ji to every village.BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi, chief secretary Pratyaya Amrit, information and public relations secretary Navin Kumar and several other senior officials attended the review meeting and discussed arrangements for the campaign’s rollout.
