Tips Music Limited on Monday said the Supreme Court of India has stayed an ex parte status quo order passed by a Katihar court in a title suit filed by Puja Entertainment (India) Limited over certain intellectual property rights.

In a regulatory filing to the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, the music company said Puja Entertainment had instituted Title Suit No. 137 of 2026 before the court at Katihar, Bihar, pursuant to which an ex parte status quo order had been granted.

The Supreme Court, by an order dated May 22, 2026, has stayed the Katihar court’s order until the final disposal of proceedings pending before the Patna High Court, the company said.

Tips Music added that it has taken necessary steps in accordance with the law and is actively pursuing the matter in consultation with its legal advisers. “The Company is actively pursuing the matter in consultation with its legal advisors and shall keep the Stock Exchanges informed of any further material developments, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations,” Tips Music added.
