Mohali: Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal will address the party’s proposed ‘Punjab Bachao Rally’ at Palheri village in New Chandigarh on September 10, SAD’s Kharar constituency in-charge Ravinder Singh Khera said Tuesday.Addressing a press conference, Khera appealed to residents to attend the rally in large numbers and accused the AAP government of failing to address key issues in Kharar. He said the rally would highlight concerns including poor healthcare infrastructure, sewerage and drinking water problems, broken roads, crime, drug abuse and alleged neglect of education and health services.Khera also claimed the rally would send a strong political message ahead of the 2027 assembly elections and asserted that the Akali Dal would continue its campaign against the state govt’s policies.
