Stratage Law Partners has appointed Amruta Kelkar as Partner in its Funds & M&A practice and Yuvraj Choksy as Associate Partner in its Litigation practice, as the Mumbai-based firm continues to expand its corporate and disputes teams.
Kelkar joins Stratage after a stint as partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., where she was part of the corporate practice. She comes with around 13 years of experience advising on private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation and other transactional matters.
Her practice has included advising on domestic and cross-border private equity and M&A transactions, joint ventures and fund-related matters. She has also advised clients on company law, securities laws and foreign exchange regulations.
Earlier in her career, Kelkar worked with Kanga & Co, Juris Corp and Kotak Investment Banking before joining Economic Laws Practice in 2013.

Choksy, who joins as associate partner, focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration, white-collar investigations and promoter and private-client disputes. He advises companies, financial institutions, promoters, family offices and high-net-worth individuals in high-value disputes before courts, tribunals and arbitral forums.
Before joining Stratage, Choksy was associated with JSA.
