Fresh off bedazzling her own birthday cake, makeup mogul Kylie Jenner sent social media into a spin on August 21 when she debuted a sparkling, custom phone cover.

Sparkle-obsessed beauty lovers are already hopping on the trend, but you don’t need a celebrity budget to get the look.
Here is how to create your own high-shine phone case at home:
What you need: Phone case (hard plastic works best), craft glue (Gem-Tac or E6000), flatback rhinestones or pearls, tweezers, rubbing alcohol and a microcloth
Step 1: Clean your phone case thoroughly with rubbing alcohol to remove grease and dust, then let it dry completely.
Step 2: Place a few rhinestones on the case without glue to decide on a design, like a full cover, initial monogram, or subtle border.
Step 3: Dab small dots of glue directly onto a tiny section of the case. Don’t cover the whole phone at once, or the glue will dry before you place the stones.
Step 4: Use tweezers to pick up each rhinestone and press it firmly into the glue dot. Keep the stones close together to avoid gaps.
Step 5: Let the case sit undisturbed for at least 24 hours to let the adhesive cure completely before snapping it onto your phone.
