Bengal plans to make the Gangasagar Mela an international event, CM Suvendu Adhikari said on Thursday and added that the Centre had agreed to a plan to beautify the coastal area around Kapil Muni temple and restore the shoreline. CM Adhikari also said Centre would carry out dredging around Gangasagar Island.
