Mumbai: The Maharashtra government on Feb 28, 2026, decided to form a Special Investigative Team (SIT) to probe the issue of lack of toilets at Mumbai’s famed maidans-Azad, Oval and Cross, where hundreds of cricketers play matches every day.The issue of lack of toilets and changing room facilities at the three famous maidans of Mumbai cricket was raised in the Legislative Council by Mumbai Cricket Association Apex Council Member and MLA Milind Narvekar.
