New Delhi: Delhi election officials will hold special camps at all polling stations across 70 assembly constituencies Sunday to help eligible voters left out of the draft SIR roll apply for inclusion. Separate camps will be organised at colleges, universities and other educational institutions on Sept 29 and 30 to enrol gen-Z voters.The camps are part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Delhi. The office of the chief electoral officer said the Sept27 exercise would be the second special camp for left-out eligible citizens, following the first one held on Sept 20.At Sunday’s polling station camps, eligible citizens whose names are missing from the draft electoral roll can approach booth-level officers (BLOs) for assistance in submitting form 6 for inclusion.The Sept 29-30 camps at educational institutions will focus on enrolling electors aged 18 to 25 years. BLOs will be present with electoral rolls and blank form 6 forms to guide eligible students through the application process.Those who have completed or will complete 18 years of age by Oct 1, 2026, and whose names are not in the draft electoral roll can apply for inclusion along with the required supporting documents.For new electors, form 6 requires proof of age and ordinary residence. Accepted age-proof documents include a birth certificate, Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving licence, Class X or XII certificate and passport. Residence can be established through documents such as Aadhaar card, utility bills, bank or post office passbook, passport, land records, registered rent agreement or registered sale deed.Applicants must also submit the prescribed declaration form, which seeks details of the applicant and their linkage with the electoral roll of the last SIR, including details of specified relatives and their EPIC numbers, where available.Forms 6, 6A, 7 and 8 can also be submitted at the camps. Form 6 is for inclusion of new voters; form 6A is for inclusion of overseas electors; form 7 is for objections to the proposed inclusion or deletion of a name; and form 8 is for shifting of residence, correction of entries, replacement of EPIC or marking of PwD.BLOs will be available at the camps to assist electors with the filing process.
