Ludhiana: Punjab Agricultural University’s soil science department has received the “Best Centre” award for micronutrient research at a biennial workshop in Bhopal. Recognised among 20 national centres, the facility was honored for its consistent excellence in soil health and sustainable crop management.PAU vice-chancellor Satbir Singh Gosal praised the team, noting the award affirms the university’s role in addressing agricultural challenges. Department head Rajeev Sikka added that: “The achievement bolsters PAU’s reputation as a leader in national soil science research.”
