Jaipur: Special Operations Group (SOG) Thursday announced that they have arrested another accused in a case involving a candidate who allegedly submitted a forged MA (Hindi) degree during the eligibility verification for the RPSC Lecturer-Hindi (School Education) Competitive Examination 2022.The accused, Deendayal Molpuriya (46) of Sardarshahar in Churu, is being questioned by SOG about the alleged procurement of the forged degree and the network involved.SOG ADG Vishal Bansal said candidate Brahma Kumari, daughter of Babulal Bishnoi, had submitted an MA (Hindi) degree purportedly issued by Mewar University, Gangrar, Chittorgarh, during the verification process.RPSC got the degree verified and found that it had not been issued by Mewar University, leading to the registration of a case at Civil Lines police station in Ajmer on March 20, 2024.During the investigation, police found that Deendayal had allegedly arranged for the fake marksheet and degree to be procured for Brahma Kumari. The documents were subsequently provided to her through Babulal Patel, according to SOG.SOG said 16 accused, including Brahma Kumari, have been arrested so far. The investigation is continuing into the role of other accused and the network allegedly involved in preparing and supplying forged degrees.
